C3 Summit was founded in 2012 under the simple yet powerful notion that fostering a community of like-minded leaders would encourage collaboration and promote the free exchange of commerce. In the wake of the Arab Spring Movement, our founder Ransel Potter believed there was an opportunity to increase bilateral cooperation between the West and the Middle East. President Clinton shared Mr Potter's vision and agreed to be the keynote speaker for the inaugural C3 Summit - the first time President Clinton ever inaugurated a summit.
Since that first summit, C3 has expanded globally and held summits in the US, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and China. Some of our esteemed speakers include Dr Henry Kissinger, General David Patreus, General Wesley Clark, and HRH Prince Abdulaziz. The corresponding business outcomes of the C3 International's Summit Program has resulted in public private partnerships, investment in both US and Arab businesses, as well as cross border transactions to promote the free exchange of commerce between our two regions.
These achievements have led to C3 being recognized as one of the official side meetings of the UN General Assembly and being known as the Davos of Healthcare. In order to continue delivering on our mission, C3 International has since launched a year-long membership program that enables individuals and organizations to engage throughout the course of the year and further advance the flow of commerce between our two regions and strengthen communal ties.
